The big front hatch has a hidden weapon rack and its cover can be used to give the hatch a better balance when the hatch is fully opened.
The droidlift doesn´t lift, it can drop only. It´s an Astromech drop funtion. It can be fiddly and it will not work always. When there´s no weight on the lift, it will most likely not drop.
The “feet” of the landing gear might fall off during play, but it stands relatively safe on these small tips. The balancing of the ship is better when the front hatch is opened;)
